Wednesday, September 28, 2016 - 14:00

Overview:

In this talk I will present the process of designing a research data repository at our organization. I will introduce you the goals, alternatives, policies and technical issues including hardware and software facets. We’ll include also how we pretend to address data management and data publishing in the research workflow, how we are dealing with long tail data, what organizations we are partnering with (or want to partner with) and what we expect to offer to the research community and public.

Target Audience:

Managers, designers and users of research data repositories.

Benefits for Audience:

They can have a good idea of the main steps implementing a research data management strategy at their organizations. For those in agricultural and food research can be an opportunity to partner with us in order to improve reuse of platforms and/or data interoperability.
